Four Diet Myths You Should Know

By: Jack Mitchell

Okay, you're overweight. You get it. Now what do you do about it? Diet, starve yourself? Believe it or not, starving yourself will not work and you'll put on all the weight you may have lose PLUS more. That's just how it works. Dieting is not a bad idea. In fact, it's necessary when attempting losing weight. You've probably tried dieting before, but it may not have worked. Were you possibly misinformed? Take a look at these dieting myths and check if you are misinformed!

Myth #1 - No need to count calories.

Counting calories is VERY important. You will find that most of the time, people are underestimating the amount of calories they intake and overestimating how much physical activity they've had for that day. Log it, keep it in a little notebook, whatever you need to do!

Myth #2 - Always eat breakfast in the morning!

You most likely aren't hungry as soon as you wake up, and that's fine. Most people aren't, including myself. Most nutritionist's recommend that you eat before three hour's since waking up. It will just help get your body working and moving. Even an apple or a little cup of yogurt will help.

Myth #3 - Eat three times a day, and don't snack.

This is a huge myth. It's all about calorie intake. In fact, some nutritionist recommend you eat six smaller meals each day instead of three meals. Again, it really doesn't matter too much. It's just all about your calorie intake.

Myth #4 - Diets don't work.

Many people think diets is a waste of money and they don't work. This is yet again another misconception. Diets actually help you. My personal favorite is FatLoss4Idiots (scroll to bottom of article for more info). I really was once extremely overweight. I was in need of desperate help, and I was a complete IDIOT when it came to weight loss. With the help of FatLoss4Idiots, I was able to lose over 70 pounds! I was losing 9 pounds every 11 days. It was fantastic!

By using FatLoss4Idiots, you can make your body think that it knows what you are about to consume. By doing this, your body will end up turning int a burning machine because it has no idea what calorie is coming next.
